Dreampark set to release their debut EP
Time to introduce you to a relatively new band! Dreampark are a nostalgic-pop duo based in East London, consisting of partners Carmel Faraggi and Daniel Barer. They formed the band in 2018, just after moving to London to fulfill their music dreams.
Tomorrow (Monday 9th Sept), the duo are set to release their debut EP Summer Storm, which is a nostalgic-pop record that will revolve around the feeling of falling in love for the first time. Mastered by Yoad Nevo (Sia, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran), the EP wonderfully combines retro aesthetics with a fresh sound. And, although their sound is rooted in 70’s and 80’s pop, it is this refreshing sound which makes their sound exciting and very fitting for 2019. This shall be heard especially in the EP’s title track, which is a powerful 80’s style ballad which explores the need to accept the unpredictable. The EP will also include previously released singles ‘MAD’, ‘Balance Station’ and ‘Rocknroll’, which all work to blend beautiful synths with great pop hooks in order to provide a soundtrack to your daydreams.
So check out the band, and dream on.
Summer Storm will be out tomorrow.
