Le Fil Puts Her Money Where Her Mouth Is On New Track
Le Fil is an artist who needs no introduction. He has taken the pop community by storm over the last few years and hailing from London; he shines brightly out of the capital with his new release ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’.
This new release is a gripper. It fastens us in from the get-go, and the sounds blast out of the speakers in typical ‘Le Fil’ fashion. Kicking off is a fearless beat which thumps away triumphantly. A piano lead then arrives, and it has a 70’s influence with its catchy and melodic approach. We are then in with a strong vocal from Le Fil who never minces his words.
In the verse, Le Fil beams radiantly, and he sings with genuine passion, so much so you can feel his emotion dripping out all over the mix. He sings about a lover who is holding back, someone who never really does what they say; I am sure we have all encountered someone like that in our lifetime.
The chorus takes us down a new path, and it reminds me slightly of the L.G.B.T.Q. Classic ‘Y.M.C.A.’ by Village People. However, I believe this is just an uncanny resemblance given that I cannot find any notable claim to this being an actual influence on this track. For me, the chorus is irresistible, and it screams mystique with Le Fil driving his vocal to the finish line in flawless fashion.
Towards the latter, the track picks up pace, and it makes for the ultimate finale with all guns blasting out preparing for the ultimate upbeat and in your face cocktail.
