Thomas Atlas Returns With ‘Halfway To The Moon’
Thomas Atlas is the pop-funk man who can do little wrong, and he proves his infectious ability to shine once again with ‘Halfway To The Moon‘.
Like opening a window on a summer day, Thomas Atlas’ vocal is radiant with his delivery hitting the face like fresh air. He is passionate, talented and, above all, inviting. Furthermore, he leaps forward with his vocal here, and he leaves no room for any dissonance with his tone rising out with rich texture.
Often hailed for his ‘good times’ approach, Thomas excels, with his backing group rising to the occasion too. Moreover, the music is irresistible with a sturdy foundation that hits strong. The drums flow with confidence, and the kick is obdurate; additionally, the snare is ripe. The guitar rhythm jingles its way forward with a bluesy texture with Thomas Atlas, proving his stellar guitar skills. Likewise, the bass takes centre stage with a frequency drive which will even rattler your neighbour’s walls if played loudly.
Nevertheless, the excitement does not stop there, with the brass elements rising out of the mix with flavoursome bite too. They are crisp, and they push Thomas Atlas’ sound into its own space.
Overall, ‘Halfway To The Moon‘ is as influential as they come. It is perfect for the season, and although it comes slightly early, given its summer groove, it will undoubtedly be echoing out of playlists come the warmer months.
