Dave Kalz Leaves Us Gripping To His New Release
With his new single ‘Mexico‘, from his highly anticipated new album ‘Relish‘, blues-rocker Dave Kalz gets down to business.
His innate talents rise out of every hook, and the American virtuoso does not hold back. In addition, his enticing voice cut through the blues area with distinction while remaining true to the present chart.
The track begins with a guitar riff that rattles the speakers; it sets the tone for the rest of the record. The drums are massive, with a depth that can fill a stadium, and they bind the entire mix together like glue. As the song proceeds, the musical basis gets more solid, with numerous new sounds emerging in the middle. Furthermore, the bass riff introduces a flowing groove, and it’s difficult not to tap to its cadence as it approaches its melting point.
Dave’s lyrics are about his time in Mexico, and his wordplay stands out from the start, creating a visceral experience. His storey also sets a high bar for the rest of the album, which does not fall short. Furthermore, the entire album reflects Dave’s experience, leaving little opportunity for ambiguity in his message.
A guitar solo in the latter stages of ‘Mexico‘ keeps us grasping for dear life with a sleek last push that is noteworthy. It has such a stronghold on us that it drags us back in time and time again. Dave, you did a fantastic job!
