Shane Pi Drops Debut EP, ‘Is This Art?’

Shane Pi is not only fresh to the scene, but his name is catching on faster than Jack Robson. Why? Because it’s uncommon to hear such a strong debut EP from a new artist.

Is This Art?‘, the Nashville artist’s new and debut EP, only became available recently, and it reminds many of the days when they discovered other future stars before getting their big break. Furthermore, the breakout artist’s expert skill stands out among peers in the industry and the regulars.

Past generations of indie clearly influence Shane’s style, but he’s also developed a new sound of his own with a modern texture. Musically, it isn’t exactly groundbreaking, and we don’t hear anything particularly distinctive, but his vocals shine out in a bright light. Also, the vocals on all five tracks grab the listener’s attention right away.

Is This Art?‘ is now more relevant than it could have been if it had come out previously. It is because it beautifully expresses what many people have been going through in recent years. Also, Shane’s tranquil indie soundscapes, which he blends with other influences such as blues and funk, provide a getaway from the chaos of modern times.

Overall, the EP sets a solid framework for Shane to develop. He is pushing the scene’s boundaries, and his aptitude will likely send him far as he progresses in his career.
