Von Venn Release New Single ‘Ghost’

The Dublin-based indie-rock outfit Von Venn have a new single out called ‘Ghost’ from their new album ‘Jeanie Is Out’.

Gary Cox leads the project, and he strikes while the iron is hot, as evidenced by the release of this new single. ‘Ghost’ is captivating from the first chord and never lets up as it goes with a high-calibre quality that is not to miss out on if you’re looking for fresh new indie with nostalgic references.

A radiating synth ascends before a finger plucking guitar lead enters the mix with Gary Cox on the mic in the opener. Gary has a warm vocal tone that captivates from the first note, and his synergy with a female backup harmony provides a piercing encounter that is unforgettable.

The drums have a tremendous presence, and the sounds melt together in the refrain, with the vocal melody sinking deep. Also, the lyrics tell a story of loneliness and touch on a recurring theme that many will find relevant; especially considering the recent self-isolation many have experienced over the last few years.

The sleek guitar riffs and tones tear through the production. Furthermore, they come to life in the closing section with a solo that gleams like a bright star; they cut through the industry noise. Also, their laying creates a powerful sound that urges us to grab some more after it ends.
