Minna Ora Releases New Single ‘Wind’

With the release of ‘Wind‘, Minna Ora strengthens her reputation within the indie music scene. The single is an expressive release from the Finnish-based singer and songwriter. Also, although it has been some time since her last, it was very much worth the wait!

Wind‘ has no limits in terms of its exploration. The song begins with a laugh that is reminiscent of Halloween; it is eerie and works exceptionally well with the current season. Also, it weaves through the air with its reflective quality, tapping into many sounds and areas, ultimately creating a memory which will last a long time.

Momentum

Minna takes control and leads a vocal performance that is captivating and dramatic. The drums and bass melodies are introduced into the mix just after the overture, bringing a piercing quality that we cannot criticise in the slightest. The combination is lovely, and each component gets sufficient room to develop on its own. In addition to this, the track’s gradual accumulation of momentum is fascinating to witness, and Minna captivates with a gripping story that describes the myriad ways in which the wind behaves.

Overall, a very enjoyable release from Minna Ora. It is a track that pushes the boundaries of modern indie music, and it will be interesting to see where Minna leads us with future releases.
