Freya Beer is captivating in ‘Arms Wide Open’
Alternative pop artist Freya Beer is back with new music. ‘Arms Wide Open’ is a vivacious yet tender release that grabs your attention from the start.
Following from her Janaury single ‘Dear Sweet Rosie’, ‘Arms Wide Open’ was produced by Pete Hobbs from The Boy Least Likely To and released on Freya’s own label Sisterhood Records. In the track, Freya Beer commands your attention with her captivating vocal style, achieving a sound that is both haunting and sweet. Then, working with the power that the vocals possess, the pounding drums from I Am Kloot drummer Andy Hargreaves vivaciously wrap around the melodic and fuzzy guitar riffs. Freya Beer’s poetic yet distinctive style would especially delight fans of Kate Bush, Cat Power, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
