The Pale White roar with rock banger “Unnatural”
The Pale White are an indie rock trio from Newcastle. Comprised of brothers Adam and Jack Hope with long time friend Tom Booth, the band have an infectious energy. With a live presence that has been compared to that of Queens of the Stone Age, this trio have been gaining attention with previous sets at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds in 2018. Now, the band are back with “Unnatural” – a roaring rock ‘n’ roll track produced by Jolyon Thomas (from Royal Blood and Slaves).
The band’s frontman and lead guitarist Adam Hope has described “Unnatural” as “a song framed through the eyes of a sociopath’s worldview and unwaveringly confident mindset”. “It’s the most straight-up a slice of rock n roll we’ve ever unleashed” he continues. That is certainly true! Firstly, the guitar riffs are irate and fuzzy in the best possible way. This pairs wonderfully with the strutting drums by Jack Hope. Secondly, Adam Hope’s vocals are sublime, edgy and possess an cool swagger. Therefore, what we have is an infectious and endearing rock banger.
