Otherkin drop synth rock delight “True Believer”
Irish rockers Otherkin have dropped a new single, the synth-rock firework “True Believer”. Set with a extra-terrestrial outlook, the band have energised this track with soaring synths and fuzzy guitar riffs. The instrumental interludes count as some of the track’s highlights, setting themselves as spaces for experimentation and daydreaming. Also, the vocals of frontman Luke Reilly’s remain on top form in his sheer swagger of voice and its cosmic touches. In sum, this track beams with energy, anticipation and immediacy.
Otherkin will be performing two gigs at Electric Picnic on 30th August-1st September. They’ll be appearing there along with other exciting acts such as Johnny Marr, Charli XCX, Richard Ashcroft, IDER and YONAKA. Sadly, it is already sold out – but if you do have a ticket, it’s looking to be a brilliant two days of music at Stradbally Hall!
If you can’t make it out to see them in Ireland, then Otherkin are also getting ready for their headline UK tour in September. Exciting stuff so check out the dates below!
