The S.L.P. gets funky in ‘The Youngest Gary’
Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno has released his third single as part of his new solo project The S.L.P. – ‘The Youngest Gary’. Following on from his previous releases Nobody Else and Favourites (ft Little Simz), Serge’s third offering shines with its funky and fuzzy guitar riffs. His signature vocals are elevated with its futuristic touches, with the track’s catchy feel being an immensely groovy one.
This very cool trio of tracks are part of his upcoming debut album, appropriately coined The S.L.P. The 11-track album was recorded and produced by Serge at his Leicester studio “The Sergery”. Essentially, it will touch upon hip-hop, psychedelic-funk and new wave influences among more. There is even a new Kasabian album in the works – exciting times indeed!
The S.L.P. will be out on 30th August 2019 on Columbia Records.
Not only that, but Serge Pizzorno will also be touring as The S.L.P. across the UK this autumn. This even includes two dates at London’s EartH. Check out the dates below and click here to grab tickets.
