Orchards announce debut album “Lovecore”
Brighton quartet Orchards have announced that their debut album is on the way! It’s called Lovecore, and we already have its opening single. ‘Sincerely Overwhelmed’ poetically explores the struggle of managing difficult times. Along with this new single, the forthcoming LP will also feature previous singles ‘Love You 2’ and ‘Sooner’.
“It’s our statement, a flag in the ground letting people know we’re here and this is exactly what we’re all about”, Orchards explained about the new album. “It’s the product of years of touring, meeting new people, hard times, good times, loss, friendships and growth. We’re starting a party and everyones invited.”
Thus, the quartet’s debut album is a real labour of love, and it will be beaming with killer melodies and poetic wanderings around loss, mental health struggles, the environment and relationships. I am excited for its release!
Lovecore will be out on March 13th via Big Scary Monsters.
