Dan Crook confronts the media in ‘Stop the Press’
Southend-on-sea musician Dan Crook challanges the western mainstream press in his new single ‘Stop The Press’.
This urgent call to action was recorded in the artist’s home studio with Rasmus. It is biting and honest, unleashing a thoughtful challange against bias, agenda and personal gain. “Who chooses what gets written? Can we trust them?” revealed Dan Crook. And in its endevours to highlight the truth, ‘Stop The Press’ drives forward with its rhythmic drums, grooving guitar riffs and invigorating choruses. The driving riff is also reminicent of early-Jamie T, so this track will definitely delight fans of noughties indie.
Dan Crook has recieved plays of his music on Kerrang!, BBC Essex and local radio. He has also performed at numerous venues across the UK, Europe and Australia, as well as supporting Frank Turner on two occasions.
