Conrad Ashton unveils rock anthem ‘Time’
Durham-based indie rock musician Conrad Ashton has released his new single ‘Time’. The new release is the first taste of new music from the singer-songwriter since his 2018 single ‘Anna Jean’.
From the start, ‘Time’ shines with an energetic demeanor that kicks the listener awake. The track begins with the spirited and gritty vocals from Ashton that are reminiscent of classic rock. His musing on the passage of time and its impact on our lives is honest and refreshing, further enhanced by the vibrant guitar riffs and thrilling pace. Thus, with ‘Time’, Conrad Ashton has provided an even more refined version of his brand of alternative rock, a musical palette with hooks and inspirations that are warmly rooted in the classic pop sound.
Conrad Ashton will also be releasing an EP later this year. Therefore, although his acoustic gigs are now put on hold due to COVID-19, there are certainly exciting things to come from him this year, so keep an eye out!
