The Riptide Movement drop new single ‘Something Special’
Dublin quartet The Riptide Movement have dropped the second single from their upcoming EP.
Following on from the warmly-received May single ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Something Special’ is a big guitar-driven anthem. Co-produced in Attica Studios with Tommy McLoughlin (Villagers, SOAK), the track shines with its fuzzy guitar riffs, explosive chorus and the lovely vocals by frontman Mal Tuohy. So, we definitely have a nice track that’s easily enjoyable.
The Riptide Movement will release their new EP in September.
With four studio albums to their name – most notably The RTÉ Choice Music Prize nominated, no.1 album “Getting Through” – the band are renowned for their live performances. In addition to the new record, the EP’s release will be followed by the UK and European Leg of “The Something Special Tour” from October 2019. These dates will be mostly in Ireland, although the tour does kick off in London at The Islington on the 4th. Check out the dates below!
