Samm Henshaw drops ‘The World Is Mine’
Since London singer-songwriter Samm Henshaw released his debut EP in 2015, he’s been loved by BBC Radio 1 and has supported James Bay and Chance the Rapper on tour. 2019 has also been great for the 25-year-old artist, starting with his ‘Church’ single (ft. EARTHGANG) back in March. Now, we have his second single of the year – the captivating ‘The World Is Mine’. If you want a badass song, then this could be for you!
Samm Henshaw’s new offering is a wonderful example of his uplifting, soulful pop brand. ‘The World Is Mine’ thrives on its classic hip-hop and gritty soul tones. His voice is husky in just the right measure. Also, the track’s twists and turns take you on a rushing ride. Utilising his influences including Stevie Wonder, gospel and the pop records he loved growing up, Samm Henshaw’s music is beaming with depth and spirit.
