Flyte release lovely single ‘I Still Believe in You’
Flyte are an indie pop band from London consisting of friends Will Taylor (lead vocals, guitar), Sam Berridge (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Jon Supran (drums, backing vocals) and Nicolas Hill (bass, backing vocals). From beginnings including jamming at school and busking on the London Underground, the Hackney quartet have been releasing great music since 2014. They have even toured with the likes of The Lemon Twigs and Bombay Bicycle Club, plus their 2017 debut album The Loved Ones was warmly-received for its infectious 60’s touches. Now, Flyte have released their first single of 2019.
The lovely ‘I Still Believe in You’ shines with its cheerful acoustic guitar riffs and sweet-as-candy vocals, wonderfully woven with that classicism in their sound. With a knack for weaving a love for literature and classic bands into their makeup, Flyte’s sound is exquisite. Flyte’s releases may be sporadic, but their lovely sound that has certainly left me wanting more. And I’m looking forward to hearing more!
