Micky James releases new glam single ‘Crybaby’
Micky James is a glam rock artist from New York. Inspired by the likes of The Clash, David Bowie and the fireworks of 90’s indie, ‘Crybaby’ shines with its gritty guitars, 60’s soaked melodies and James’ impressive vocal range.
New single ‘Crybaby’ narrates being stuck in a toxic relationship. On the track, Micky James has said that it’s his “most rock’n’roll song yet. Like all good rock ‘n’ roll songs, the message and the feeling gets right to the point”. On taking inspiration from the 60’s and 70’s, James has explained how his musical passions have informed his fresh brand of glam rock. “I wanted to take pieces of nostalgia and give it a contemporary twist”.
Micky James is currently signed to Dirty Canvas Music, joining bands such as American Authors and Young Rising Sons.
