Best Coast are back shining in ‘For the First Time’
American surf pop duo Best Coast have returned after a four-year break with the sunny, bubbly and 80s-inspired new single ‘For the First Time’. This bright new single has arrived in prep for the release of their upcoming studio album Always Tomorrow – their first album since 2015 LP California Nights.
In ‘For the First Time’, Bethany Cosentino shines with her sweet vocals and her wise exploration of personal growth. In the light of the track’s sunny melodies and jumpy rhythms, the lyrics are really uplifting in their celebration of getting back on your feet. Plus, both Bethany and bandmate Bobb Bruno glow with their 80s and 90’s inspired guitar riffs and keys.

Over February, March and April next year, Best Coast will be lighting up various venues around the US. They will be touring with Lunch Lady and Mannequin Pussy – check out the dates below!
