Gecko Club release their first single of 2020

Since releasing ‘Only Tonight’ last summer and performing across the UK, London quartet Gecko Club have released a new single to improve 2020. The self-titled track ‘Gecko Club’ is an uplifting, funky and cheeky track designed to lift spirits in this uncertain time.

The new track, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, tells the story of the band’s beginnings. The tale is wonderfully set against the musical twists and turns woven in the track’s many suprises. And Gecko Club’s exotic surf sound is always a delight to hear, with the irresistably colourful bassline whisking you away to a different time.

This joy is also present in their live shows. In the band’s first year of life in 2018, isslingtonthey filled out London venues such as O2 Islington and Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. Then, the word of their entertaining live shows then started to spread, leading them to sell-out at the iconic Camden Assembly in 2019. I got to see them The Grace in Highbury last October, and that was so much fun! Hopefully when our current situation improves, you will get to see Gecko Club at a venue near you!
