The Snuts shine in single ‘Maybe California’
Glasgow indie band The Snuts have shared their fab new single ‘Maybe California’. Produced by Rich Costey (Biffy Clyro), the new single is a crisp, infectious guitar delight, packed with precocious charm and heart-on-sleeve lyricism.
The new track follows on from their May single ‘All Your Friends’ and a stream of stellar UK festival performances. This even included performing to 20,000 people at TRNSMT! Not only that, but The Snuts are currently soaring even further in the form of almost sold-out UK tour. Having written about the wonders of The Snuts’ polished and stadium-ready brand of indie back in September 2018, it makes me so happy see them get the wider national recognition they deserve.
The single comes with an all-American music video directed by Ronan Corrigan and Hope Kemp. Set in the line of a drive-thru diner, the band watch the rosy nostalgia of the American dream fade in the dichotomy of the “fake” social media portrayal vs their “reality” from the seats of their Mercedes Benz. Two days ago, The Snuts kicked off their biggest UK headline tour to date, with many of the dates already sold out. Also, since supporting Lewis Capaldi at his Edinburgh shows, the band will then support him on his UK dates. It’s a mammoth tour, and it’s so exciting. Check out ALL the dates below!
